01 / Product

The only watering can made for overhead watering of hanging baskets.

The spout geometry lets the can be raised and tipped above head height without the handle fouling the basket, so hanging planters, window boxes and high shelves are watered from above instead of blind, from below.

The same geometry is what makes the body nest: the rear wall folds into a V that receives the handle of the can below it. Nothing clips, nothing rattles, and a stack separates with one hand.

Three volumes: 1 litre, 2 litres and 5 litres, in recyclable PP-CoPo. Production in Croatia is planned to start on 3 November 2026. The colour range is being re-established with that line and will be published here as soon as the first series is approved.

A conventional watering can is a container for air.

Shipped nested, one truck of KEIRA replaces roughly seven trucks of conventional cans. The saving lands in freight, in warehouse racking, in shelf space, and in the packaging volume that European packaging rules keep pushing down.

05 / Design rights

Protected by patent, and by a judgment.

The stacking system is covered by a granted European patent, and the shape of the can is protected in its own right.

Beyond the patent, the Paris Court of Appeal ruled on 5 May 2017 that the KEIRA watering can is an original work protected by copyright, and found a French manufacturer liable for infringing both the patent and the author's rights. Copyright protection runs for the life of the author plus seventy years, and cannot be invalidated for lack of inventive step.

For a distributor, that matters in one practical way: the design cannot be legally copied by a competitor undercutting you on the same shelf.
